It depends on the reference, the condition and what comes with it. Anyone who quotes you a number before seeing photos is guessing. We work from recent sales of your reference in similar condition, with and without box and papers.

Send photos and details and you’ll usually have a number the same day. If you decide to keep the watch, that’s fine.

No. A full set brings more, and we’ll tell you what the missing papers cost you, but we buy watches without them regularly.

Papers get lost in moves and estates, or by owners who never knew they mattered. It’s very common on watches over ten years old and says nothing about whether the watch is genuine.

Almost always no. A full manufacturer service is expensive and rarely comes back to you in a higher offer.

Send it as it is. If yours is one of the rare cases where a recent service would raise the offer, we’ll tell you before you spend the money.

We still want to see it. Scratches, a movement that won’t run, a missing bracelet link: a watch can have all of that and still be worth good money.

Tell us what’s wrong with it and send clear photos. If the description is accurate, the offer won’t change when the watch arrives.

Don’t ship anything until we’ve talked. We’ll send a prepaid, fully insured FedEx Overnight label, and please use it: we can’t insure a package we didn’t arrange.

Pack it well, include everything we discussed, and keep your drop-off receipt.
